From the Winemaker

On the palate, it is a very well-balanced wine with ripe blackcurrant characters intermingling harmoniously with oak characters of cedar and subtle tobacco.

There is a contradiction on the palate with power and strength in the varietal flavours of cassis and yet also supreme delicacy in the fine-boned structure.

The tasting experience is completed with long, fine tannins and a wonderful persistent presence on the finish.

But they do face a common problem - climate change. Seahorses, much like grapevines, are indicator species that raise the alarm for serious climate-related issues. It's very important we do what we can to reverse their population decline before it's too late.

At national and global scales, Taylors partner with two organisations that are working to protect seahorses and secure thriving populations of these quirky fishes.
