From the Winemaker

This is a medium-bodied, elegant wine with an enjoyable creamy yet still delicate texture to the mid-palate.

Flavours of white peach and nectarine stone fruit are evident along with toasted cashew nut notes from quality French oak maturation.

Whilst the new oak characters hold court, it is held in check by superb quality fruit characters and subtle minerality. The finish has wonderful persistence and length.

For over fifty years seahorses have been the symbol of Taylors family winery. On first glance, winemakers and marine scientists seem like unlikely allies. But they do face a common problem - climate change. Seahorses, much like grapevines, are indicator species that raise the alarm for serious climate-related issues. It's very important we do what we can to reverse their population decline before it's too late.

At national and global scales, Taylors partner with two organisations that are working to protect seahorses and secure thriving populations of these quirky fishes.
