Motley Cru Chardonnay is made with a combination of stainless steel and oak barrel fermentation to enhance the wine's texture and flavour profile.
With its vibrant fruit character and balanced acidity, Motley Cru King Valley Chardonnay 2022 is a versatile wine that can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a wide range of dishes.
From the Winemaker
The fruit was harvested in the cool of the dawn, de-stemmed and crushed to the press. The free run and pressing were kept separate.
Pressing was fined using vegan-friendly pea protein then combined back in with the free run after racking. A cool ferment in the tank and barrel followed by fining and filtration prior to bottling.
Motley Cru Chardonnay has zesty citrus leaps from the glass with subtle peaches and pears in the background and a delicate pinch of spice.
