Our Notes
A classic Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc from Michael Downer. The 2021 vintage is a great example of why this region has become the home of Sauvignon Blanc in Australia.
With simple wine practice and home grown grapes, it’s all about preserving the crisp citrus and tropical fruit flavours that the Adelaide Hills produces and is know for in their Sauvignon.

Our estate-grown grapes are hand picked producing an intense, vibrant style of Sauvignon Blanc, loaded with tropical and citrus fruits whilst displaying elegance and persistence.
About the Winery
Murdoch Hill are proud of their patch of the Adelaide Hills and are excited to share it with you. Murdoch Hill acknowledges the people of Peramangk Land on which it stands and recognises their connection to culture, community and Country.
Their vineyard and winery are located behind the township of Oakbank in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. Where they have been farming since 1939, with four Generations of family caring for this land. They established their vineyard and started producing wines in 1998.
