About the Winemaker
Stoneleigh wines owe much to their unique terroir. For thousands of years, the Wairau River ran through what is now our vineyards, depositing stones of all sizes. Today, our vines are planted among these sunstones, as they capture heat throughout the day and release it on to the vines, helping develop rich, intense flavours in the grapes.
