From The Winemaker
Twist the cap to unlock a myriad of fresh fruits. The delicious pale pink rose is a little peachy and has plenty of cherry, berry and plum action. There’s just enough sweetness to this wine that comes right into balance when the wine is chilled and it is chock full of flavour and character.
There is an initial fruit sweetness with berry fruit flavours that follow through with good acid and soft fine tannins, all integrated to deliver a crisp dry finish with length and depth.
Sitting on skins for no more than an hour to obtain the required colour and flavour, the juice was then taken and cold fermented in stainless steel. After a temperature-controlled ferment of twelve days, the wine was filtered and bottled.
About the Winemaker
Eldredge Vineyards Cellar Door opened in December 1994 after 12 months of renovating an 80-year-old stone cottage in the Sevenhill Ranges.
Situated on the Spring Gully scenic drive route, Eldredge Wines has become one of the best-kept secrets of the Clare Valley, due to not only it’s unique location but also our National and International award-winning wines.
